Digital IC Design Engineer - Limerick

Digital IC Design Engineer with 2+yrs experience in the development of digital integrated circuits required for permanent role in Limerick. In this role you will participate in the development of smart power management controller family, providing digital design and verification expertise of SOC products.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Development of innovative mixed-signal products for power management applications
• Design of digital circuits and embedded microcontroller components
• Definition and verification of the interface between digital and analog components
• Communication and collaboration in a young and highly motivated team of system architects, digital and analog designers, application and test engineers etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, physics or related fields
• Ideally two or more years of experience in the development of digital integrated circuits
• Experience in RTL level digital IC design
• A high level of expertise in hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)
• Excellent understanding of digital design flows and tools (simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, design for testability)
• Fundamental understanding of mixed-signal semiconductor circuit technology
• Experience in the field of power management would be a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Very good command of English (fluent in spoken and written)
