Description

IT Systems Administrator required for permanent role in Kilkenny.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and implementing the technology roadmap to underpin the Group-wide, mission critical, Oracle and SAP Business System IT platforms.
  • Support the system administration of the SAP suite (which includes ECC , BI/BO, CRM , PI , Enterprise Portal , SRM ) and administration of the Oracle based business systems.
  • Support the in-house Application Development and Functional Teams
  • Work with the wider Technical Team to deliver additional functionality / components as required by the Business

    Requirements:

    • Third Level Degree (2.1 or 1st class honours degree - ESSENTIAL)
    • A demonstrable ability in Systems Administration for Enterprise scale IT platforms, in a Windows environment.
    • Experience in database administration in an Enterprise environment would be desirable, however, requisite training will be provided.
    • Experience implementing and supporting Oracle or SAP ideal
    • A motivated self-starter, with a strong desire and track record in keeping abreast of the fast moving technology environment, through user group and / or other external engagements.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • The ability to work on one’s own initiative and a proven track record in meeting goals.
    • Good problem solving / analytical skills and the ability to see issues through to resolution.
    • Due to the location of my client, you need to have a car to access the offices.
