C++ / Windows Software Engineer with 3yrs C++ development experience required for permanent role with dynamic company in Dublin 18.

Role:

• We are looking for a technically multi-skilled person, whose primary area of expertise is in C++ and Windows development.
• You will have the ability and willingness to take ownership of component design and progress it through to development, test and delivery.
• We are looking for a team player who prefers to work in dynamic environment on leading edge technology.
• The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Product Development team and will work on all technical aspects of application development and delivery of major new product components.
• You will proactively participate on technical and customer projects.
• You will work directly with the technical lead and product manager to deliver products to given specification.
• You will provide technical input to design specifications and UI specifications.
   

Key Requirements:

• At least 3 years commercial experience developing enterprise-class software in C++,  MFC and Windows technologies
• Experience with Visual Studio 6.0 through to 2005.
• Experience with client/server development using DCOM.
• Experience with database development including T-SQL, stored procedures, MS SQL Server 2000.
• Experience with SQL server tools would be an advantage.
• An ability to communicate with non-technical people, analyse user requirements and translate into design and technical specifications.
• Degree level qualification in a computer or computer related discipline.
