SAP BI Reports Developer with 5+yrs of BI reporting experience required for permanent role in Galway.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing reporting platforms, co-ordinating with IBM AMS Support on all 2nd level reporting issues and designing and implementing new reporting functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

General

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions and views in Db2 and SQL Server.
• Performance tuning and query optimisation of existing database objects.
• Create, monitor and maintain SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.

SQL Administration

• Monitor and maintain backup schedules.
• Database performance, tuning and scaling.

SAP BI

• Building, updating and maintaining Bex Analyser reports.
• Performance tuning of reports in DB2.
• Building and monitoring ETL/Process chains.
• Develop and edit data sources, infosources, infoobjects, infoproviders and multiproviders.

Crystal Reports

• Develop highly formatted crystal reports.
• Publishing, maintaining and scheduling these and other reports on Infoview.

EssentialRequirements:

• 5+ years of BI reports development.
• Experience developing highly formatted crystal reports.
• Experience of publishing, maintaining and scheduling these reports on Infoview.
• Ability to develop and maintain complex stored procedures for reports.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication /interpersonal skills.
• Be highly motivated and ambitious, a self starter with a can do attitude.
• Problem solving and decision making capabilities.
• Customer Service Awareness.

Desirable

• SQL Server 2005/2008 experience.
• DB2 Experience.
• Reports development experience preferably SAPBI, SQLServer, Db2
• Ability to performance tune and perform query optimisation of existing database objects.
• Experience in the development and maintenance of large databases.
• Experience building, updating and maintaining of SAPBI Bex Analyser reports.
• Experience of workbook development and report broadcasting.
• Experience building and monitoring ETL/Process chains.
