Hardware Systems Engineer with experience developing systems & silicon for functional safety required for permanent role in Munich

• Your role is to be the Embedded Processors expert in this Safety Committee and to ensure that our embedded products meet the requirements as defined by the IEC61508 standard and enable customers to build safe systems as per the ISO26262 standard.
• This includes analysis of silicon physics, generation of FMEDA documents, specification of supporting hardware and software as well as preparation of documentation material.
• You will also be responsible for interacting with lead customers for agreeing on safety case and technical conditions.

Requirments:
 

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of 6 years of related and progressive experience;
• Experience with Functional Safety standards and processes;
• Experience in automotive engineering;
• Solid background in software and hardware engineering;
• Knowledge in DSP / RISC / FPGA-based embedded systems;
• Good communications skills in German and English languages
