Business Development Manager

UK, £Neg + Package

The person appointed will work with the executive management team to create and implement a credible and realistic Nationwide Marketing plan for the Group. The Business Development Manager will play a central role in the achievement of agreed business objectives and to assist in the operational growth and profitable development of the business in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, document and present (internally) a fully costed Marketing Plan
• Source and assist in securing new projects nationwide and co-ordinate and manage the pre – qualification process in conjunction with Directors, Estimating and current Marketing Executives.
• Prepare and deliver company presentations
• Develop and maintain on going and new Client relationships through corporate entertainment, social events etc…

Competence and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of the UK Civil Engineering Market in a similar role with a leading company
• Excellent negotiation skills and team building skills
• Strategic thinker
• Excellent presentation and relationship skills
• Good Commercial acumen
• Recognised formal Third Level Qualification in Marketing and/or Construction
• Previous knowledge of the Construction Industry (desirable but not essential)
